 As we all (English teachers) know, proposing engaging reading activities in class is not an easy task. It's probably one of the most challenging tasks we need to face in our lessons, because it's pretty common that students find any kind of reading activity boring or, at least, not entertaining at all. With that being said, today I come up with an activity that is ready to break that theory down: PBS KIDS. On this website, we can find interactive reading activities; after reading what the different storie's characters explain, we can play different games that let us practice and get vocabulary about the text we just read. Hello everyobody! Today I'm sharing with you one of my favourite ICT tools when it comes to practice our student's listening skills in English class: LyricsTraining. This website allows us to listen to our favourite English songs, and complete its lyrics. There's two different game modes:  1. Selection mode: in this game mode we are going to choose the correct option, out of four options we'll have on the right side. We can replay the part of the song we are at, as many times as we need to. 2. Typing mode: in this case, we'll need to complete the empty spaces by typing the right answer, without having any hint that helps us complete the song, only using our listening skills. https://es.lyricstraining.com/

 Hi everyone! Today I'm gonna share with you an activity I love to use in English class for my students to practice their speaking abilities. It's an activity based on a Spanish game named " Los lobos de Castronegro " (Castronegro's wolves). In this game, the teacher assumes a narrator role, and each students gets assigned a card with a concrete role to develop through the game. There's two phases: night and day. During the night, the wolves will wake up and kill a villager, and during the day the rest of the village need to identify and kill the wolves through a voting system. If we want to use this activity to practice our speaking, we need to make mandatory for the players to speak in English all the time. There's also a few rules students need to follow: In the night everybody will be asleep (no cheating).
